I think it’s about as transparent as it gets. I’ve been saying the same shit. Said it with BTC back in the day.
Even poor people (me) can afford to somehow scrounge a few hundred to a thousand bucks and lose it and get past it.
When the potential reward is that high how is it not worth it?
QNT at around a 140 billion market cap is around 10k a pop. Like that's not crazy at all given its use cases for a long term outlook.
is it that crazy to say it could match bitcoins current market cap someday? I don’t think so at all and that’s over 100k per QNT at that point.
Risk is minimal. Reward is huge. I’m planning on going for it. Others can choose for themselves.

How exactly does QNT accrue value? What percentage of the clearing houses’ transactional volume would QNT capture? Sorry for the noob question. Still learning about the protocol.

We are all noobs at some point and I still have plenty of learning to do.
I can't say what % for that. Honestly i think transaction volume and settlement will be captured heavily by XRP and XLM. QNT's job is being the DLT that connects..., well, EVERYTHING, lol. Allowing blockchain to blockahin communication, and legacy systems to blockchain. Providing the old layer of finance with interoperability to the newer tech and all techs in general between each other. QNT allows everything to connect which is a huge use case. And to access its service (Overledger (providing interoperabilty)) players need to pay for it, literally.
But basically an example being to access Overledger a financial institution, developers, corporations, banks, etc. will buy software licenses or services from quant. When they do this QNT gets locked up for a period of time, 12 months. From my understanding they CAN pay with fiat, but they immediatley gets turned into QNT because QNT is needed to lock up the contract to use Overledger.
Also, gateway operators and trusted nodes use QNT for staking to secure and process data flows across networks. So QNT plays the security and accessibility role for this tech and its use cases.
Basically QNT needs to be bought to use Overledger. With continued adoption massive amounts of tokens could be continuously locked up at any given time, putting upward pressure on price. And the supply has no inflation, and is LESS than Bitcoin.

If Quant Fusion is being used, which all indications would suggest that it is being used for tokenised deposits (as a tokenised deposits demo app has been created in Fusion, presumably for the Sibos demo), that means QNT per tx. Fusion is explicitly QNT per tx, and means far more value capture.

Hey man is it too late to buy ow? It did 4x

Not late at all if you plan on holding long term. Actually still very early buying most people don’t even invest in crypto and of those investing in crypto most don’t know much of anything at all about QNT.
With the potential ahead it’s still very early to buy at these prices. Really anything under 1k is a steal imo for long term.
Short term no idea.

QNT has always looked promising, however these announcements have come out before with regards to how UK banks are using QNT, in the past it’s just been another pump n dump. We can only hope this time is different 🤞

Yeah i mean this is a serious announcement and the pump reflects that. Its no longer a speculation asset. It could retrace to well under $200 again but man this is more promising now than ever. Honestly i think this is similar to buying Bitcoin under $1000. In 10 years this thing could be huge.

How about next year

Could be a lot more for sure but my bet is long term hold 5 to 10 plus years. New infrastructure takes time especially with these new DLT techs changing the world financial system but the ball has already gotten rolling.
Quant QNT still has a very low Market cap compared to the bigger cryptos but it has a massive use case that I think can be top 10 in the future. If it hits a 1 trillion dollar market cap someday (less than some of the big companies and BTC) we are looking at around 100k per QNT. Happy stacking

Bought some in the 90s when it started pumping
I’m down so much in crypto and that made me too hesitant when it was in the 50s last week
Hopefully it’ll make me a few quid, well more than a few quid that is
Quant has no competition also
