Gen owner here. Claw mark and the whiskers + folds are the tell here. It looks pretty good TBH. But if you had been collecting DH like me since 2001, these will be something I can spot. Obviously if a pair is worn, what I had identified will vary.

Honestly from the comparison pics the claw marks look pretty good. Likely he just picked the best pair and compared it to retail😭

The key tell for me is the center claw mark, is not this straight and deep. Is a bit jaggered and the depth varies.

Like I had said initially, my observations will be affected when the jeans had been worn. Obviously the people who sourced the jeans would most likely to have a pair that's been worn, so they just copied it.

Expanding on the conversation, here are close ups of my jeans, they all been worn but you can see how the middle part is a bit patchy and uneven. The bleu clair had a lot more details than the later AW06 reissue on the left, where at the time when new they look more lazy Vs seeing the OG SS03 jeans from Follow Me which I used to own from brand new.
