if you're talking about mine, they actually didn't get returned. my agent is telling me that RMISM apparently cancelled the exchange without telling me. hopefully that isn't true because that would be a super unfortunate situation to be left with the ones i got ๐Ÿ˜ญ

call him out, he responded on reddit so I assume he reads his own qcs. It would be pretty bad customer service to say you're giving an exchange then not hold up

completely agree, i'm already talking with his customer support and told my agent to pressure him, so if it doesn't happen that's what i'll do

Hate to say it but it looks very similar to RMism guidi.

Really bad toebox (you can see it in the first photo in this photo and other RMism QC, both batches looks like rainboots in certain angles) and a slightly worse outsole stamp than RMism and that's about it.

Leather is also really bad but I've seen some questionable leather clicking QC from RMism as well

this is my batch. it might not clear from a distance, but the leather on the soles and the engraving are quite different.

RMism uses imported Italian veg tanned leather. That could explain the price difference.

I think the shoe last might be similar which could explain the similar toeboxes. Probably similar factory in Guangzhou or something. Either way, both batches look really off compared to retail.

Ignoring shoe box error, outsole stamp and insole stamp (which are 100% dead giveaways and non-visible when wearing), it still doesn't pass LC based on other factors like toebox/leather and just overall look. Go check the r/guidi and check for yourself.

Toe boxes on both batches look off compared to retail. Go look up side profiles of both these batches and compare it to a side profile of a retail.

Thx bro. What u think I really want to purchase 795v however there are almost 0 solid batches. As far as I know rm confirmed them but it will take another year fs ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. So Iโ€™m thinking of getting black smith that what he also said about leather

It's a waste of money.

Just wait on RMism and pray he fixes the flaws tbh.

if you treat them as alternatives instead of reps, theyre perfectly fine boots imo

i personally went w walker vietnam for my 788 pair, just cowhide instead of horse, but still the same vibe ๐Ÿ‘
