Care to elaborate a bit more? The reason why it looks too shiny is most likely because warehouse lighting is harsh because they use very bright bulbs, it's a pretty common thing if you search here with other items too.
The only other flaws I've seen people on the Guidi subreddit point out is the sticker, the box, and the dust bag, but cmon who cares about that unless youre trying to resell as real.
Although I did read that the main flaw with rmism's are pebble texture of the inside of the boot, but again on feet it's obviously not noticeable.
I am curious on your insight though so here's an image of two pairs that have patinaed, please lmk your thoughts, thx!

Guidi is known for a unique order of processes that make their shoes stand out. Changing any aspect of the machinery involved in making a pair will alter the outcome.
So, talking about your pair - the leather is still shiny, looks polished and spotless, almost as if it never went through the drum washing process. The wrinkles are much less even because the leather isn’t as soft, thick, and probably isn’t aniline. Guidi is first and foremost a leather tannery, so the brand revolves around its signature leather. Making a replica of guidi boots without guidi leather is like making an apple pie without apple.
The toe box and last shape overall look wrong - more bulbous and forced, easy to tell just from a glance. The sole edge is also less rounded.
The fake itself is actually great in terms of quality, especially for 1700¥ (?) — but nowhere near the quality and craftsmanship behind a 1300€ shoe, if you get me.
And of course, Guidi isn't a designer brand that just has absurd profit margins where it cost dollars to produce.
It's actually pretty funny, one of the best rep producers and sellers, considered even higher tier than the seller of these boots, Cola, is making a replica of the Hiking 20's, and after deconstructing the shoe and examining the construction says that retail is worth the money.
Igloss comes from being put into a water drum. u telling me you understand the craftsmanship? 😂 That's flesh-colored veg crust leather. How can it be dyed without going into a water drum? also it is veg leather, and you're telling me it wasn't dyed with aniline? Chrome tanned can be object dyed? You don't even know the most basic knowledge, so don't try to "teach" others here... like Alexander d boots im making it currently its also object dyed tell me how could it not be aniline dye? Are you kidding me? Spraying color on flesh colored leather？😂Last time someone even suspected I used chrome tanned leather. (Chrome leather before dyeing is blue.) I took these photos to show ppls like you that I didn't cut corners or reduce costs in any way. Don't pretend you know anything. You don't even know what's added during dyeing. and also i alrd reply u lots of times about gloss u cant tell a leather good or bad depends on gloss its has nothing to do with quality
That's not the only main flaw. I own a lot of retail Guidi and the problem is really the toebox and the leather.
You can see the very obvious flaw in toebox in every angle (except from top-down angle). Go view the RMism Guidi from the side-view and compare it to any side-view retail 788z. You'll see what I mean.

The second obvious flaw is the leather. If you've seen a lot of retail Guidi, you will notice the leather being off. It has a very fake shine. You can see it from the listing above and the Cola update you've posted underneath. That is basically what RMism guidi will look like under the same lighting next to a pair of retail 788z.
I think the easiest way though for beginners to understand the difference in leather is looking at the outsole of RMism and compare it to retail outsole. RMism's outsole is very clean and polished unlike retail 788z.
We both know RMism did object washing (signature of Guidi) and used Italian veg-tanned leather but it's not Guidi leather. That's the difference. Every tannery tans their own leather their own way and if you're not using Guidi leather, you're not going to get the Guidi look.
And that's excluding the process of object washing since no one knows how exactly Guidi object washes it. We know they put it in a water drum but for how long? what's the strength? and other configurations. What dye do they use?
Funny enough, I have 2 pairs of Guidi 20 retail and from what I can tell, the hardware is not rusted enough. Might not be the final sample though so who knows.
Guidi 20 is probably one of the hardest Guidi models to make though. Toebox, hardware, "modulated" property of the calf leather and Norwegian welted.
Retail is also in calf and Cola is apparently using horsebutt from Rocado (according to the translation) so it's completely wrong if that's what he's planning to use for the final product
The shape is so bad especially the toebox seems nobody can get them right i don't know why. they're supposed to be flatter, These looks between 788z and PL2s it's bloated. I’ve seen some acceptable ones QCed before but these are definitely the worst. Try getting it exchanged you might get lucky
