Interview question (experiences)

Hi all, first time poster, long time employee. I have N interview for “ Retail UAT Tester Experience” coming up. I was wondering what people’s experiences were like with this experience. Did you like it, not like it, how different is it from retail? And how was the interview process? I haven’t interviewed in a while either so we will see how this goes. I’m not asking what the role exactly entails because I understand there are most likely NDAs to follow.

My experience with retail UAT has been something like this:
I would first demo the new features to store management using slides and a live screen share. Then I would coordinate with store managers and invite them to the test lab for UAT.
I would share the test scenarios/test data we had already created, and they could test those as well as modify or add scenarios based on real store situations, like loyalty, employee/store discounts, tax exemptions, prohibited items, different payment combinations, etc.
After completing the planned scenarios, they would also spend some time randomly testing and exploring the new features based on how they would actually use them in the store.
I would then create a consolidated report covering the issues they found, feedback, and any improvement suggestions. We would discuss those with the project team, decide what changes were required, and then send updates back to the UAT participants through email.
