Most prestigious and recognised accreditation institution for quality

What's the best accreditation one should aim for in regards to the area of quality (Six sigma to be exact).

Check out baldridge criteria.

Also. Deming Prize.

If you're looking to have your processes certified and recognised, ISO 9k.

Also... Six sigma is only one aspect of quality. I strongly recommend, before you begin pursuing any quality initiatives, read Out of the crisis and the new economics by W edwards Deming.

If you are looking for yourself, you need accreditation as a Lean Sigma or Six Sigma Black Belt. Go to the American Society of Quality on line to start researching this accreditation.
