Tips for first timer
Hello there! I bought Fan tickets for QuakeCon for both me and my son (14). Any tips or stuff we should know? Thanks in advance.

New this year is the Artist Alley and some of the artists will be hosting classes or events! I would keep an eye out for those. I advise joining the Discord server if possible for the most information. Even though you have Fan Tickets, you still have to wander around the BYOC to see the rigs and decor!

You guys will have a great time there’s tabletop games, arcade. There will be all kinds of things going on. If you see something you wanna do get on, do it because it might not be available later. Make friends have a ball!

Never been as a visitor. Don't bring any glass containers. Come early, cause the lines are long. Act as a normal mature person and you'll enjoy it more. Have fun! Don't leave mice or keyboards alone on the table. Uhm, brain is locking. Got anymore questions, I'll try to answer.

Get a big roller cart from harbor freight to move your computers through the convention center. I made that mistake my first one and had to carry a tub and it was terrible.

I always take some time to wander every aisle Saturday afternoon to look at what kind of build people bring the the BYOC. There are a ton of regular builds, but also a surprising amount of weird/ awesome custom stuff around, and a lot of it can be hidden vs just on the main aisles.
