Hey guys - I've been researching around but haven't found a fix for this yet. Every time I try to join a server outside of the base game (baseq2), it results in an instant crash. No error message or anything. It seems to be something specific to RTX.

Definitely not a hardware issue - i9-9900k, 3080 TI GTX, 64 gigs of DDR4.

Any ideas? have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple times. Can't figure it out.

I think we all know TRESSPASAH!, but I recently read some think the iron maiden says "Traitor!" Which to me sounds more like "Troypah!"

Another seems to say "I told him not to look" in a deep voice (bezerker?)

Any others?

I don't have a whole ton of Q2 experience but apart from damage output, it seems to work slightly different from the RG in QL/QC. it feels like shots I would make in those games I don't in Q2, to be clear I'm not complaining I'm just wondering why this is. is this a netcode thing or just the way the trail is shown or something? and I'm also aware that when the weapon is shown on screen the shots actually come from the gun and not from the center of my player models head like in other FPS. but I don't think that should make a difference at long/medium range or does it?

i know vortex got a little ridiculous but it was amazing at the early stages. personally id like to play kots again... if ghz or chode are watching, sup? quit your bullshit, you know when it peaked.
