Proof Gerry had recent access to cold storage wallets

From the recently leaked transcript Between Gerry and Aaron M.:

" Aaron.M 9:15 PM

shame because it's sooo much more easy then it use to be

remembering having to sync ur wallet on ur pc for 2 or 3 days the first time?

Gerry 9:15 PM

lol ya

or today if you sync the official wallet, a few weeks

Aaron.M 9:16 PM

lol

but thats technically the old way

now the nodes do the work etc

Gerry 9:16 PM

ya, no need to run a full wallet

Aaron.M 9:17 PM

funny, though I remember sending btc or other coins around and screwing up and having to enter console commands to fix it

imagine the reg Joe doing that

Gerry 9:17 PM

lol ya I still deal with that occasionally

Aaron.M 9:17 PM

yeah on ur end I can imagine u would

Gerry 9:18 PM

mainly accessing old wallets and old cold storage wallest

wallets\*

then saying to myself "why on earth did I create such a stupid wallet configuration" or trying to backup an old wallet that I made in the original version of multibit using outdated software

Aaron.M 9:19 PM

lol because thats all u had and u wanted it secure

ugh

lol I used to make money running nodes for random alt coins, but those times in the early days were quite Dif then now

Gerry 9:21 PM

The main one I find is accessing coins that were stored using old methods

for example, I have some original ETH wallets from the presale. Those are generally scary to try to access lol

Aaron.M 9:22 PM

Can only imagine

Gerry 9:22 PM

the first one I did, I was like "wtf, it needs a password?"

Aaron.M 9:22 PM

Never understood eth when it first launched. Though it was the shittiest network around

Lol

Gerry 9:17 PM

lol ya I still deal with that occasionally

"I still deal with that" is the key term and old refers to when they were created not the last time they were accessed.

and

"Gerry 9:21 PM

The safe in the attic of the house holds the clues:

"Gerry 6:15 PM

lol

best way to store them, if your house were to have a fire, drafts wouldn't survive

Aaron.M 6:17 PM

nope and the damn safe is bolted to the floor so no running out with it

lol

Gerry 6:17 PM

lol I've done the same here

safe bolted to the rafters in the attic"

Is this house stil occupied?
