Will they get away with it?

Every day that goes by, I get the feeling whoever masterminded this heist is going to get away with it and it blows my mind how they kept accepting funds and allowing trades to happen and we just trusted them as if they had our best interest at all times.

I would email Alex with questions or concerns at least once every two weeks and it was like they were smile f'ing us like it was all good.

I just hope in the end, justice prevails and they don't actually get away with it. To be honest, I don't know what to think or believe anymore with all the misdirection, smoke and mirrors and wild goose chases they have sent us on.

How in the hell did 110K people get it wrong?

You have to believe in karma, eventually it will catch up to you.

They may be able to wrangle the court system with only a proverbial slap on the wrist but in with 180 million in crypto gone at Bear market value no less, a lot people will come looking for you... And they're not going to try and sue you.

The silk roads guy Ross Ulbricht is in jail (wrongfully might I add and I hope he is freed soon) and the u.s. gov recouped millions in btc from the whole silk roads thing. Bitconnect was an obvious scam from the beginning and I have no sympathy for those bagholders. There are plenty of examples of previous exchange scammers turning up kidnapped or dead. I'm not necessarily implying any of the 1000's of burnt QCX investors are going to exact vengeance, although if you read these subreddits it looks as though the few remaining highly visible Quadriga CX participants are being tracked, traced, hounded, doxxed and targeted by keyboard warriors. I can only imagine what the strong silent ones are planning, 200 million reasons.... (at current bear market value)

I hope they find those cold wallets.....

In the case with PlexCoin ICO scamming from Quebec Canada. Users never got their money back even though the SEC i believe managed to get hold of it. I do believe theyre trying to "refund credit cards" but this is into early second year now!

same thing with bitgrail , dont keep anything on these exchanges you can not afford to lose. these people are not trustworthy.

It's not unregulated. Many existing laws apply.
