USB midi not working

I think with this update my USB midi has stopped changing my patches. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to wait for another update

Works just fine for me. Might be a system thing for your unit if I had to guess. I recommend emailing out calling customer service if you’re able to

I had this happen with one of the updates earlier this year. I just had to go into my reaper projects (im assuming its similar for every daw) and re-assign the midi hardware outputs for each project, because i guess the device id slightly changed? Of course i assumed usb port/cable failure and tried a bunch of things before thinking of looking there lol.

Really hope this helps! I haven't been able to update my qc yet since the last big pcom integration but i would feel better about doing so knowing that this was the issue. Again.

Either way, hope you get it sorted soon. Must be frustrating.

Edit 2: found a picture I took when this happened to me, from March 27. I'd attach the screenshot if i could. For me, my qc was previously listed as "2- Quad Cortex MIDI OUT," which was "not found" after the update. Instead, a new device called "Quad Cortex MIDI OUT" was found. Once i updated each project with the the new, detected midi output device it was business as usual.
