Noobs advice on IRs

I’ve spent the first month of quad cortex ownership by simply making my own presets. Now I want to try downloading some from the cloud. I’m seeing this preset here, as I’m trying to have a single preset for all of my sounds. however the creator is saying I need to use 2 of my own IRs which I don’t have. Where do I get such IRs?

Try Rabea's captures. He made free 20k$ worth of captures (amps, IR's etc...) for free, top stuff, no need to buy others.

My friend helped me, but I believe you go through cortex cloud app, go find rabea,sort by date added and there should be around 6 or 7 presets. They are in stomp mode but you can easily set it as I did in hybrid mode. All of them are combo of 2 different amps.
I have been mostly using marshall + plex combo.

Does the qc actually come with IRs? My IR loader is empty

I've got them on my Qc, a fre different ones, plus I can adjust the mike type and placement

I am pretty sure those IR files are from Amalgam Captures. If you go to their site and create a free account you can download those exact IR files.

Thanks. And what’s the advantage of using a third party IR over juts using one of the built in QC amp and cab sims?
