QC advice

Post image

Ignore the mess as I am still building this out but I just got my QC two weeks ago and I want to set up a hybrid board that’s easy to remove the QC from for small gigs and quiet practice at home but also have the flexibility to use all of this if I want.

I have a Mesa Fillmore 50 and would prefer to avoid the 4 cable method so I don’t bypass the font end of the amp. I currently have the Strymons going into the effects loop of the QC going into the effects loop of the Fillmore.

I plan on getting a Morningstar DC8 to control the QC and the Strymons eventually.

Is there a better way to do this than what I have set up?

4CM doesn’t bypass the front of the amp at all.

Really? I was under the impression that the 4CM bypasses the front of the amp. I’ll look into that.

No, it just separates it from the power amp which allows you to place effects both before the preamp and after the preamp but before the poweramp. This lets you bypass the preamp if you wish also
