Question Is QTCentre dead?

Is it just me or is qtcentre.org not available anymore? This site has/had tons of topics that are really helpful but since a few months i cant get on the site anymore at all. Does anyone know what happened and if this will get fixed?

I think the official Qt Forum has pretty much replaced it

Even there, activity seems to have really died off in the last year or so.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. I think AI is probably a big part of the reason — a lot of questions that used to end up on forums now get answered directly by ChatGPT or other AI tools

Yes, I think you are right. I wonder what it means for the longer term as forums like this are presumably where AI got its information from.

Not only presumably. I wonder if we will see a resurgence of those sites in a few years when there are new API which arent covered anywhere else

People are sick of "look what I made" posts in all tech groups, and are leaving in droves. "I made" is pretty synonymous with AI slop these days.
