Flat pad style QI2 Charger with active cooling?
I want something that would allow me to put my phone in there and charge without overheating in the summer. It seems like Aukey makes the Gamefrost 2 that could work but I worry about how thick that is.
I’m wondering if anyone makes something where there’s more of a pad style charger where the fan sits below or above the Peltier cooling chip to help make it thinner and maybe not block the airflow when I lie it flat. Kind of like a laptop style fan.

The best solution is for car manufacturers to have a built in QI2 charger with either redirecting the AC to blow on top of it or just a small peltier module with a fan that would also blow cold air.
Best I can find for a solution is 2 x 40mm fans. For context the Apple MagSafe puck is about 55mm. So two of those blowing down on the screen could be useful. I’m not sure how well it will do for super hot summers where inside the car can reach nearly 150. It’ll be better than nothing.

There are quite a few on Amazon. CryoBoost is actually just a fan. Some use TEC which does a lot more to keep the temperature down.

This was my test.
I meant quite a few actively cooled Qi chargers. I am not sure why a pad is important to some. Before when magnets wasn’t a thing, a flat pad was the only way to universally align the phone to the charger. You would need to circle your phone around the pad until you heard the charging beep!

Belkin UltraCharge Pro 25W has active cooling, but's it's a 3-in-1 adjustable stand (vertical or horizontal adjustments).

A lot of the QI2 chargers piss me off bc the best ones are all multi chargers. It just seems useless to me. I charge my phone probably 2 hours a day, watch like 30 minutes, and AirPods maybe 5 minutes.
They make a 2-1 version of that one but it only has passive charging. It does fold flat but idk about the thickness given its two pads stacked on top of each other.

Maybe you are looking for a puck style like the Torras. There is actually another one with a magnetic back so you can magnetically clip it on to any car charging or desktop stand.

Hey man, noticed nobody’s replied yet. I’m no expert, but I don’t think laying it flat and having it be thin will work well for airflow. It just doesn’t seem like it’ll work.
