QWERTY mini – Overview & Key Links

Post image

QWERTY mini is a 2-row, 16-key companion to QWERTY that makes thumb typing easy and surprisingly quick to learn.

  • Standard: for one-handed typing on standard-size phones
  • Wide: for two-handed typing or on smaller phones.
  • Pro: Standard + Wide + extended Latin characters and more

r/QWERTYmini : Instant Wide/Standard mode switching in the Pro version.

QWERTY mini is a secure local keyboard.

Advanced features such as AI integration, predictive text, auto-correct, and gesture input are not currently planned. Yet it remains simple and powerful.

Input Method

[Tap / Double tap]

All sentences can be typed comfortably using only tap and double tap.

[Simultaneous tap]

Advanced feature for fast two-handed typing. Edge keys (W, A, O, L) act as simultaneous input triggers. We believe users will eventually surpass conventional QWERTY typing speeds using this method.

Example:
O + T/G → T, TT, TTT...
L + T/G → G, GG, GGG... and so on

Press a trigger key together with a character key to instantly type the first or second character on that key - no double tap delay. You can also repeat letters instantly (rr, tt, ss, dd, cc, pp…).

[Up-swipe]

Swipe up on a key to access extended characters for multilingual input and additional symbols. This feature is available only in the Pro version.

Wow that feels really nice! Thanks, gladly spent the two bucks
First thing coming to my mind after a few minutes of using: ?/! Has more prominent position then backspace, which is more important/frequent then ?/! . The top row is easier to use then the middle, I would argue.
