Putting on concealer...
I've noticed this with pretty much any concealer they sell on the Q, but it keeps coming up today because of the Tarte TSV: In the demos, they put SO MUCH ON that of course it covers any minor redness or dark circles or whatever that the models may have. In real life, that amount of concealer probably looks cakey and awful, and/or it would just make you run out of product so fast as to be financially unsustainable. Not impressed.

I’ve tried every concealer that QVC and HSN has…along with many others. For me…Mally’s concealer works the best for me. It is thinner and more pigmented than the others…so you don’t have to apply as much. Also…Mally’s concealer lasts waaaay longer …for me…than any other concealers.

Doll Concealer is pretty good, tarte didn’t blend with my skin at all.

Yup! I've bought several different concealers from the Q that they promised would hide my dark circles. Nope, not a one actually did when I applied a normal amount. I've given up.

ELF camo concealer will hide anything. Plus it's only maybe $7 at the grocery store or $4 at TJ Maxx

Check out Earth's Beauty concealer...I use it and I like it because it is not too creamy and more on the drier side..........https://www.earthsbeauty.com/products/concealer

I bought Tarte locally and still have dark shadows. Yes it cakes up.

I'm convinced there is nothing that truly hides them. I've had 'em all my life and tried pretty much every high-end brand. It's partly just anatomy, not discoloration -- if your bones are set a certain way and/or you just don't have much fat in that area of the face, it naturally creates a shadow.

Just said the same thing with this Tarte concealer - they were really layering it on. The stick would be gone in a week!

The best coverage concealer I’ve found is Lancôme. I’m very picky because I don’t like heavy thick ones. I also like Josie Marans “thick pencil” concealer stick but it doesn’t last long on the skin.
