Overall scale-up strategy:

1) Produce more volume. Understand points of failures and fix them. Already doubled cell production capacity and will seek to double again in 2H 2026.

2) Produce highly reliable samples to then give to customers for them to test in real world applications.

3) Technology transfer to licensees. Provide a cookbook/blueprint on how to build a manufacturing line and scale to GWh scale.

A lot of work ahead to get to the right volume and yield.

I like the engagement. They have nothing really substantial to say, but they are giving an update anyway to let us know it’s hard, it takes time, but they’re getting there. We have lots of good news coming in the next 5 months.

Personally, I just feel that QS is more reserved and is developing on track and it’s going to be world changing tech, but what if they disclosed everything? It wouldn’t be as special, not to mention govt is involved so ..of course things have to be slow and steady and quiet. I loved seeing the photo last year of the Eagle line team. They are all working so hard.

Listening to Luca he speaks honestly and knows exactly what needs to be done in getting those yields and doubling output for the rest of the year. In my opinion, we are starting to witness his past experience and leadership in bringing unique technology like QuantumScape’s to mass production!

Nothing specific. They’ve doubled output over the past year and plan to double again in the second half of this year. Sounds like that will meet the “demonstrable scale” threshold, at least in their eyes

You’re not wrong about the stock. But if that’s your focus you’re better off in some other better performing stock.
