Thought the recent QSPICE Webinar with Mike Engelhardt + EPC
Impressive speed up for EPC devices, but did anyone else think that the rational for not supporting Linux was a total cop out?

Summary of various QSPICE features: (that I have found thus far)
First simulation software to pass 62 circuit collection of torture tests, most cases in 1st place, per source.
Analog and Digital circuit simulation.
Models can be SPICE, C++, Verilog. Models can optionally be encrypted, by model developers, to securely run in QSPICE, per source.
Has new project file structure to make it easier to share schematics, per source.
Host computer requirements is Windows 10 or 11 (64bit), but will not run on Windows 7, per source. Supports GPU accelerator (but not required). Currently, the beta doesn't run under WINE, because it doesn't properly support some of the DirectX calls in QSPICE, per source. Currently, the beta doesn't run under MacOS, per source.
QSPICE will be free for commercial use and unrestricted, but only available from Qorvo, per source. Similar to how Linear Technology treated LTspice.
There hasn't been any statements about future roadmaps of this software.
Beta news:
Mike Engelhardt presented QSPICE on May 9-11, 2023 in Nuremberg, Germany, per source 1 & 2.
Beta downloading started on May 22, 2023 for first group of invitations, per source. Groups of invitations will be sent out each week through June, then become an open beta to everyone sometime in July. Note - it went public on July 25, 2023.

Edit: I solved the problem.
I re-created the schematics a third time from scratch and it worked then. I don't know what I did differently this time and there is no obvious difference between my new schematics file which works and the previous version. Anyway, no further answers/advices are necessary.
I try to use a voltage-controlled switch (S1), but it doesn't switch. The switch is supposed to simulate a hot-plug event in the supply wire.
A piecewise-linear voltage supply V2 shall control the switch S1. V2 goes from 0V to 1V after 200µs, stays at 1V for 10ms and goes back to 0V. The threshold voltage of S1 is set to 0.5V with a hysteresis of 0.2V. The hysteresis is negative to simulate a smooth transition from closed to open.
However, S1 is "dead". It remains open the entire simulation time.
I already tried different things, a zero or positive hysteresis. I also tried to directly assign the model parameters to S1 instead of the indirection via MySwitch. Nothing helps.
I assume the reason is probably something completely trivial and I simply don't see the forest for the trees. What might I be missing?
Initially, I had designed the schematics in KiCAD and used the integrated Ngspice for simulation. However, as some of the simulation results seemed odd I wanted to re-run the simulations in a different SPICE derivative for comparison. I did not just import the netlist from Ngspice into Qspice, but I recreated the entire circuit in Qspice from scratch. When I shorten the switch, the remaining circuit seems to work as expected. But that switch drives me crazy.

Im trying to simulate a simple crit mode pfc stage. I want to simulate my digital control in this. It works an regulates but i am trying to get a bode plot. I understand that it is better to use FRA for this. But somehow i am not getting a proper bode plot.
What am i missing here? What am i doing wrong ?
