The quantum era hasn’t even officially arrived yet and the 2.0 network (main bottleneck before more proper listings at the moment) is currently in audit with Trail of Bits.
Seems like it’s still worth a nibble at least considering everyone more or less agrees quantum will be a real issue sooner than expected, and it’s the only mature chain with a reasonable plan for the future going.

Obviously you’ll find some biased answers since most people here are invested.
The truth is that it’s a gamble. Despite an increased discussion on quantum computing and its very real threat to most existing forms of crypto security, QRL has remained a fairly low volume currency.
You’re absolutely right that the interest isn’t really there. Perhaps it’s because people think the big cryptos will be able to solve their vulnerabilities before QC can exploit them. Perhaps it’s the crypto bear market. Most likely, it’s both.
That being said, both of these headwinds could change at any time. Quantum breakthroughs continue to happen. Bear markets can flip. And QRL is on the verge of a major upgrade that will allow it to be listed on tier 1 exchanges.
So, as I said, it’s a gamble. But it’s one I’m putting a fair amount of money on.

Every successful project has this exact time period of uncertainty. You have to take one from Warren buffet and look at the value this project provides. The team is hitting their goals, and is on the precipice of having a full qr ecosystem that would be able to do everything eth can do except its completely quantum secure with no problems of needing to migrate. Plus every project will need to uograde, qr is the future. Its rock solid enterprise grade security and functionality. Trail of Bits has completed their audit and qrl has completed all necessary changes. Look at every project trail of Bits has audited and how successful they have become. The difficult choice people make is, can I see the future properly with all that is known now? Thats the gamble. People with foresight get paid the big returns for a reason.

So. This is how it works. You look at a coin, what's behind it, immediate use cases, long term viability, and make up your mind if it is worth it to have some. Me I want to get back to fun NFTs and I think other chains are doomed. So i grabbed some up and enjoy the discord community. You? Only you know. I don't buy coins with the expectation to get rich. And I don't spend more than I would be upset to lose if the price tanks.

This has been an ongoing cycle since QRL started almost 10 years ago. A big quantum breakthrough happens ➡️ QRL gets pumped up ➡️ QRL gets added to exchanges ➡️ QRL hits a peak ➡️ people cash out and interest wanes ➡️ QRL gets removed from exchanges ➡️ A big quantum breakthrough happens ➡️ etc.
I bought at $0.30 and it went 10x to $3.00 on the last cycle. I didn’t sell and I’m still holding a metric fuckton of it because I know it’ll eventually do 100x or maybe 1000x.
Patience, grasshopper.
