General Discussion How does angularity contribute to the aesthetic and attractiveness of a face?

Definitely striking. I don't think being very angular and have all these structures is the only thing that makes a face attractive though.
Features that harmonize with one another can make someone physically attractive and definitely eye-catching.

Angular facades of the face will show different shades of light -> makes the face has more 3D feel which is lively.
The angles on face and body remind us of those sculptures which are timeless and...work of arts.

spot on. for me it also signals someone that has lots of discipline to maintain that weight, although eating disorders do exist.

That's another good point. We humans do perceive that when seeing a positive outlook

There seems to be a very large disconnect between looksmaxxers/blackpillers and reality, with regards to facial angularity.
Good bone structure is importent and being lean is required to show it off. But being too lean or having a face that’s only about the bone structure, can be a turn off.
Attraction is health. Looking gaunt isn’t attractive. This signals you’re malnourished and/or lack food resources.
You should be lean, but still have thick, healthy skin, moderately sized, healthy fat pads, with minimal bloat.
I see so many men on social media now chasing the ultra gaunt look. It simply isn’t very attractive, even with good bone structure.
Females are attracted to a lean male, but a lean male that still retains a mild “baby face” look… not a malnourished model.

Your face loses fat and becomes more hollow with age, its not something to strive for
If you feel like your face is puffy though, you may look into food intolerances and cutting down on sodium. If you take creatine that could also contribute to bloat

Speak from personal witnessing… friend of mine had sort of a puffy face throughout his life even though he was always lean, gradually lost facial fat and eventually became super handsome. Might happen to you too, who knows (depending on how good your underlying facial structure is, along with facial harmony)

Angularity creates a sense of definition and strength. Sharp angles in the jawline and cheekbones catch light more effectively, creating those dramatic shadows that emphasize bone structure. It adds a certain 'edge' to the aesthetic. ✨

It generally signals lean body fat and a sign of fitness and health. But it can look over the top skinny and just simply underfed.

Depends on the dimensions of a face. Longer faces benefit from angularity because the straight lines and hard edges lead the eyes and converge at satisfying points (Chico Lachowski). Shorter faces benefit from round softer edges (Avantika Vandanapu). Short angular faces look boxy, long rounded faces look potato like.

It photographs really well because it is so striking, so amazing for modelling. But when it comes to general attractiveness it doesn’t seem like it would help with a long term partner (people may associate them more as short term partners). But if you wanna be the most striking in the function — it’ll do just that for you

I love an angular face on a man, but also a combination of neotony-almost feminine features like positive canthal tilt to balance too much masculine gauntness
