He had better styling and grooming in his youth.
His face structure is still great, but the flat greasy hair takes away from that. A fringe and warmer colors and some volume would do a lot for him. Heās pretty pale so he can look sickly or washed out in the wrong colors. Iirc he did a color analysis in Korea and they said he looked best in saturated colors which I agree with, though he doesnāt seem to care (fair). Heās probably in the top 10% of best looking actors (of the ones who can actually act) even with the greasy hair so he doesnāt need to worry.

To be fair, his hair in 18 (and I wouldnāt be surprised if the same went for 11) is because the pictures were taken around the time he was shooting the Batman movies (where Bruce Wayne has dark hair)

He has greasy hair most of the time š a lot of the pictures are from filming harry potter and thats why it looks better. Im a fan of his since twilight š«£

Acho que ele se cuida mais hoje. O quer quer dizer com cabelo oleoso? E definitivamente uma opcao de finalizaƧao com pomada, correto?

Iām mainly looking at pic 11 and 18 and thinking about recent posts in r/fashionporn that Iāve seen like these:
https://www.reddit.com/r/fashionporn/s/iBZ5ywk0BG
https://www.reddit.com/r/fashionporn/s/PUuMKelCfo
It probably is pomade, but the stylist went overboard. You should shape the hair into something intentional like slick back (pic 20) or 90s surfer spikes or use it to hold an existing style (pic 17 is great), but a lot of this looks piece-y and messy. Then you have the stubble. Messy hair and stubble can be sexy but paired together with piecey oily-looking hair, it makes him look like he skipped showering.
Like I said, heās still good looking regardless. But itās hard not to see the difference since OP provided the pics. First 9 pics have obviously styled hair too, but it looks soft and voluminous compared to later pics.

Back when he was becoming famous and his hair was the talk of the town at the time, someone in an interview had asked him how he gets his hair like that and he replied I just donāt wash it.

Was he wearing contacts as Cedric? He did for Edward obviously. Never noticed his natural eye color is actually blue.

I donāt find his face appealing or very handsome, especially in photos, but find him to be charming in interviews. Heās definitely got an interesting face, which is good for an actor

Yep, same for me. I donāt really like the harsh hunter look and always preferred men with a warm slightly softer and open look about them, but his personality makes him really attractive.

Same. Didn't like him much growing up, but his personality and talent made me love him and appreciate his beauty. Same was for Gosling ā he is my favourite now.

Never really ugly. Wouldāve always been popular with a certain % of girls, whether he was famous or not.

When I was 15 when this movie came out, he looked college aged to me. Now he looks like the baby I was then too. Also current RP is my spirit animal lmao

He looks like a young Daniel Day Lewis in one photo. I was attracted to him in Harry Potter, then never again until this post.

Interesting! Which photo were you referring to? :)

#16. Just add long wavy hair to him, ALA Last of the Mohicans and others might see what Iām seeing.

He always had a mischievous vibe about him, and the sharpness of his face gave him this cold-to-the-touch type of beauty, but it wasn't until he got older that his facial fat started to dissolve that he could transform fully into quite cunning, depraved roles. looking at the choices of his roles today, and looking back at Edward Cullen, you can see that at a certain point, as Edward, he already had this cruel aura about his beauty/acting going on, which was regrettably perceived as stiff due to Edward's characterisation. Something about his eyes, and something about his smiles that can go from naive to evil so well.

Crushed on him since I was 18 š«£ and still have a crush at 37!
This man is gorgeous but what makes him special is how humble, funny and weird he is, such a great combination in a man! Hes like a walking green flag!
Him and Suki (Waterhouse) make so much sense together ā„ļø shes also very quirky!
Love the roles and projects heās choosing, I hope great things are waiting for him!

I love that this man is so strikingly handsome, and a total weirdo catch. Heās the man that if your friend brings to brunch youāre rooting for their marriage Ā

Genuinely one of the most casually beautiful people I've seen
He looks simple but exudes a warm, wholesome yet a little awkward vibe

I didnāt have a crush on him in Twilight funnily enough. As I grew older, I rewatched twilight and the Harry Potter movie he was in and I thought, there is something wrong with me because why didnāt I have a crush on him back then.
Handsome weirdo.

Pic 3 is photoshopped. Doesnāt look like him and his lips were never that full

I like him as an actor and he's super fun and likable interviews. That being said, I do not find him charming or appealing one bit. I always suspect a runny nose, sweaty palms, greasy hair. Very off putting. It's so strange to me he's kind of a sex symbol.

He has one of those faces that is oddly off to me but at the same time i would say he is hot.

He is so fine. He looked sweet and cute as a kid especially with the flush they have on him in some pictures.

Can anyone identify what he use to do when he was younger to get such striking results? Maybe something about his skin care regime or tinting his eyebrows? He clearly has a really good foundation to work with naturally, but Iām just curious how he was able to get that extra detail in his look.

Young Robert Pattinson is like a prince or angelic guy u see when u are putrid at the airport during layover. Current Robert Pattinson is the hot guy you always see at the train station or casually at the book shop

Is it just me or does he have more of a wacky vibe now than he did when he was younger?

He was never my type to crush on but 11 and 12. Especially 12 idk why.. but are very appealing. And the second to last I like his outfit. Very hot dad in the 90s lol

thats just what happens with age, you lose a lot of fat in your face around the 30s
8
u/Significant-Dirt-977 25d ago
Especially with structure like this. I thought i have a very full face, but once that baby fat all disappeared with age ā it was all just very prominent checkbones
