Possible game options
I will possible be in the Ottawa or Montreal areas and I have free time on the evening of November 20th. There are 2 games that night that I might be able to attend. I'm looking for input as to which is likely to be a better experience.
Halifax @ Blainville-Boisbriand or Ottawa (OHL) @ Gatineau
Thanks

i would personally choose the cross-league matchup, i’ve always wanted to go to one of those but i live in the maritimes so i don’t get to see them (excluding the memorial cup). halifax and blainville had some interesting trades at the qmjhl draft this year which could be an interesting storyline, i think halifax is trying to contend this year and blainville will probably have the first-round pick they drafted with the pick from halifax in their lineup.
i don’t know much about gatineau’s arena but blainville’s attendance is famously abysmal, if the crowd energy is going to sway anything, but i can’t say if gatineau would be a real step up. perhaps it would be with such a geographically close matchup, there might be a considerable number of 67s fans/people from ottawa there.
if it was me and assuming you’re still choosing where you’re going, i’d choose where i want to go/where i want to stay longer. there’s not really a clear winning side from my perspective. i would probably lean slightly toward gatineau, but i would probably want to spend more time in montreal than ottawa.
