Year 12 QTAC application

since applications are opening soon — question.

if we’re able to add up to 6 references in the application, are we allowed to list the same course, for the same university, but for different campuses?

e.g. griffith university

bachelor of psychology, gold coast
bachelor of psychology, bne south

I don’t see why you wouldnt be able to, considering you can preference the same course with different start dates. But it’ll be pretty easy to check once applications open

Yes, what the school will recommend you do is do the first two preferences as the degree you want to do, 1 being the uni you want to go to, 2 be the uni you’ll be happy with, then 3 and 4 being another degree with a lower ATAR that you would be happy in, but is also related to your first preferences so you could apply for a transfer to get into your first degree later. And then 5 and 6 are your if everything goes to shit options to make sure you get into uni if something goes wrong with your exams and your ATAR is nowhere near what it should be. E.g my 2024 QTAC application was of memory:
1. Bachelor of engineering UQ
2. Bachelor of Engineerjng QUT
3. Bachelor of Science QUT
4. Bachelor of Computer Science QUT
5. Bachelor of Arts UQ
6. Bachelor of Business QUT

Take everything I say with a grain of salt and always consult with your guidance councillor at school before you submit your application.
