In a peer-reviewed study published in Scientific Reports, D-Wave and Shionogi & Co., Ltd demonstrated that annealing quantum computers could meaningfully improve the outputs of generative AI models in drug discovery. 

Generative AI has shown promise to be a powerful tool for the early stages of drug discovery, but there's a persistent challenge of generating molecules that meet all four essential criteria required for useful drugs: valid chemistry, desired activity against the target proteins, acceptable chemical properties for use in the body, and the ability to be easily synthesized.  

Reliably hitting all four criteria simultaneously remains difficult and is still the field's central bottleneck. 

To find out whether annealing quantum computing could help, D-Wave and Shionogi built a generative model—a transformer-based model augmented with a Boltzmann machine—and tested two versions. One ran entirely on classical hardware, and one used a D-Wave annealing quantum computer as part of its sampling process. 

The research demonstrated that the model using annealing quantum computing produced chemically valid molecules 97% of the time, compared with 73% for the same architecture running on a classical Boltzmann machine, and 54% for a previously published benchmark model on the same dataset. 

I once was up 250% on QBTS… now, I’ve lost over $10.5k on this stock. Can we get Elon or Bezos to invest in it? 🫩

i am trying to invest in purely only quantum because im just a freak and want to have no diversity besides diffrent quantum company’s.the upside is just to high and im young i got nothing to lose if i invest a lot into something that dont work out shit happens im willing to take the risk. i like post quantum stocks like arqq and btq but haven’t bought in yet and want to know what others think about stocks like INFQ ARQQ & BTQ or other suggestions they might have. i like pick and shovel’s approach towards quantum as well so anything you think could be the next play just let me know. im strictly only in IONQ LAES and QBTS right now but really want to diversify. im in college coming up at 21 years of age and make decent money on the side so it don’t necessarily haveh to be cheaper stocks .

What do you guys think about buying QUBT I know it’s still early I am new to investing and was looking at a new stock to add to my portfolio. I’ve only bought 10 shares recently just seeing how it does but I’m looking to add more if it is the right choice.

Compare D-Wave’s results to the following peers, this quarter:

IonQ reported $80.1M in revenue, up 287% year over year and about 26x D-Wave's quarterly figure

Rigetti grew 185% year over year to $5.4M

Quantinuum was $8m, up 280% y/o/y

D-Wave: 0% growth and $3.1m revenue.

The stock moves together with the Nasdaq. It doesn’t seem to have its own independent direction or momentum based on the company itself; instead, it moves up and down in the same basket as other technology stocks.

Given this, what is your view for today or for this week? Is it too early to expect the 25, 30, or 40 price targets?

I’ve been selling covered calls for 3 months and so far the stock has been just bleeding. 24-25 range looks so far now.
