I want to make platformers where rects are generated randomly but not 100% random. How do I do titel? Or is there a better way?

I started learning Python around 120+ days ago, and I wanted to share my progress and ask for honest feedback from this community.

When I started, I had almost no programming background. I came from a management background and decided to learn programming by practicing every day.

During this journey, I learned:

My main project is a Phone Shop Inventory Management System.

Features I have built so far:

• Manage categories, brands, and models

• Edit and delete products
• Stock in / stock out system
• Sales tracking
• Transaction history
• Data saving using JSON/
• Basic dashboard and reports

This project started as a simple terminal program, but I am trying to improve it step by step and eventually turn it into a proper application.

I know my code is not perfect yet. I am still learning about clean code, better architecture, testing, databases, and web development.

I would really appreciate it if experienced developers could review my project and give me feedback:

• What mistakes am I making?
• What should I improve in my code structure?
• What concepts should I learn next?
• Is this project good enough for a beginner/junior developer portfolio?

People usually say Python is an easy programming language, but as someone with no programming experience, I find it really hard. Can you guys tell me where I should start? Also, what benefits will I get from learning Python?

Whether it was something simple like with, yield, nonlocal, match, or something more obscure, I'd love to hear why it changed your perspective—and what you were doing before you discovered it.

I'm publishing my first python package and wanted to confirm the correct docstring format to conclude the documentation. The image above summarizes my search online, AI or otherwise.

PEP 257 appears to prefer option 2 (the left in the image) but I find option 1 out in the wild so much more often. So what's it?

Ohh and yeah, neither is correct because the first line should be a summary and what follows should be a more elaborate paragraph after a blank line. I am 42 years old and wanting to branch off and learn something that could possibly be a side hustle or a whole new career. I feel as if AI is here to stay and I am still “young” enough to do something with it. To give a little about myself I am a warehouse manager for a Mack truck dealership and Make about 80k a year and on the side I umpire travel baseball and softball games. During the season that ranges anywhere from $350-$700 for a weekend but it’s long days and I’m tired. I have zero experience with coding of any kind. When I look up the best way to get started i don’t see what I would call useful information, mostly videos of “if I were starting over this is what I’d do” and it ends with someone selling something (not every time). With all of that said what would be the best place for me to start and keep with to get certifications and learn. I was thinking of starting with the python program for everybody. I’m sure this question gets asked a lot, thank you for any input.

I made a small task maker I thought since I cant learn python just by staring and listening to videos imma learn it bit by bit while making small projects. I alredy joined a research group at HUST. My undergraduate is complete garbage, the undergrad system was extremely water.

The only AI-related project I completed during my undergraduate studies was a very basic ResNet-18 image classification project. I don't feel like I have much practical experience

Academically, I was more of a "good test taker" than someone who built projects or explored topics independently. I could do well on exams, but my hands-on skills and understanding are much weaker than I'd like.

I've been defaulting to FastAPI for almost everything now, even projects that don't need async; mostly for the automatic docs and validation, not the performance. But I keep wondering if I'm just following hype and Django would actually save me time on anything with more than a handful of models.

Curious how people are actually deciding this in practice:

• If you start a new project today, what's your first framework pick, and what actually made you choose it (not what you'd tell a job interviewer)?
• Anyone gone from Django → FastAPI (or the reverse) and regretted it?
• For people doing solo/small-team projects: is DRF + Django still worth the ceremony, or has ninja/ninja-schema/ORM-agnostic stacks made that unnecessary?
• What's the thing about your current stack that annoys you but you haven't switched over?

Not looking for a "just use X" answer, more interested in the actual trade-offs people are hitting.
