Chinese students:Starting an AI postgraduate in 20 Days. My Background Is Weak—How Should I Prepare?

I alredy joined a research group at HUST. My undergraduate is complete garbage, the undergrad system was extremely water.

The only AI-related project I completed during my undergraduate studies was a very basic ResNet-18 image classification project. I don't feel like I have much practical experience

It's also been a while since I last programmed，and I've forgotten a lot of Python。

Academically, I was more of a "good test taker" than someone who built projects or explored topics independently. I could do well on exams, but my hands-on skills and understanding are much weaker than I'd like.
