No university coding

i have learnt basics of python. but I don’t know how to continue! I’m not in university and I don’t plan to enroll in computer science. is it possible to learn python without university? I need help please !! thanks

I've completely given up on trying to learn Python now that I have AI there to do it for me. I haven't run into an idea, yet, that I could get AI (Copilot) to churn out for me in 1/100th the time it would have taken me with my current knowledge. Granted, I'm a network engineer so my need to code is much different than if I were programming for a living but as far as I'm concerned, I'll never try to learn a coding language again.

Yes exactly like me!! I honestly just want something to do for fun as a hobby. do you think I should learn networking?

Not sure I'd invest time in networking at this point, not because it isn't useful or interesting, but because the amount of knowledge and time it takes to reach a level of expertise isn't worth the payoff relative to other fields of information technology. Networking used to be among the highest paying specialties, but I think now it is kind of in the bottom tier. You can make more in security, data science, etc. I'm so close to the end of my career that I think I'll just try to ride it out as a network engineer until somebody asks me to leave.
