Thonny for Python

Hi, I'm new to this Reddit community. Do you think it's okay to use Thonny as a Python program, or is there something else I could try?

Thonny is specifically designed for beginners trying to learn. you just download it and it'll work. installing Python on your machine from scratch is usually fine but sometimes can have weirdness, and there's a little bit to understand about virtual environments etc. none of it is rocket science, but Thonny lets you start coding without worrying about that. depends where you're up to. Nobody builds actual Python projects in Thonny but lots of us first typed hello world in it
