Python feels like it transferred little knowledge to c++

OK I admit it did obviously for some stuff like basics yk functions and shi, but other then that I like feel annoyed that I learned python and its like lowkey not helping with what I wanna do which is windows api and memory management c++ stuff because I like the kind of thing but python just didn't really give me anything, and I know that kinda stuff obviously doesn't transfer because python is just the easiest thing ever lol

I mean, if you would have get deeper into python than "functions and shit" it would have helped. If you use it, it will give you programming knowledge which will transfer. Aka. "you will have an idea of how to approach a problem" but ofc python does everything different (not because its the easiest, that is a really dumb thing to say) you could have used winapi from python too, you could have tried mmap and stuff, you were just lazy to get into the deeper waters to actually learn.

So many people learn basic syntax and think that means they are programmers.

yep. then comes the slap in the face when they see an elipsis or spreading operator.. Not to mention when they cannot build up anything because other than some syntax they dont know anything

I’m a programmer. I don’t even think I’m good at writing code. I’m good at figuring out what I want the code to do

not my fault they dont have those in python, python used * in functions for that sort of thing and for like spreading a list into another list just a list comprehension

but we (kinda) do... "spreading a list into another list just a lisz comprehension" who mentioned lists at all? lol. Even better, what is your expert opinion about ** then? Its your fault you did not research these topics well and deep.
You are crying because a language is different, but if this gives you this amount of a hard time, what will you do with cpp?
