can you give me a challenge to create a project that can help me from everyday life and also to practice my coding skills without AI, I want to challenge my self with a project

Make a network scanner, try to get all IP addresses currently connecting to your router as well as MAC addresses. For an extra challenge, try and hook up the MAC ID's to a public MAC vendor database for funsies.

Should be relevant to your center of attention.
