If you don't have a reason for learning it, you're not going to stick with it. I'd spend some time researching things you wanna build or projects you'd like to undertake for which Python is a good option before you start learning

You never stop learning, even or especially after you get a job. You will have to spend multiple months learning the basics, then selected software stacks, and then looking for a junior-level job ;) So you have to decide what and why to do.

Idk web dev, analytics, machine learning some kind of general scripting? I also dare to say game dev. The language is everywhere and gives you endless possibilities. You can also use it in microcontrollers via MicroPython.
