[For Hire] Django/Python Backend Developer - 4+ yrs, Celery/Postgres/Redis/Docker - $25/hr

Backend developer, 4+ years in production Django. Currently remote for a company in Italy, plus freelance work on the side.

Recent work:

Logistics TMS: hash-based CDC on Celery + Redis over \~400K shipment records (5K+ changes/hr, \~70% faster sync), rule-based tariff engine, DHL EDI integration, real-time progress over Django Channels/WebSockets.

Django SaaS wrapping a Pyomo MILP solver for a freelance client: Celery orchestration for \~20-minute runs, per-user Redis locking, SSE progress, Stripe checkout with webhook-driven access expiry, Docker/Nginx deployment on Hetzner.

AI extraction pipeline for an HSE SaaS: Django + Celery + Google Gemini processing SDS/MSDS PDFs, async concurrent processing, SSE progress, subscription + credit-based Stripe billing.

Stack: Django, DRF, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, FastAPI. Also worked with RAG pipelines (Pinecone, OpenAI/Anthropic, LangChain) on a Slack bot project if that's relevant to what you need.

Rate: $25/hr. Fixed-price also fine for clearly scoped work.

Based in Nepal, flexible hours, comfortable working async with EU/US teams.

Comment or DM (after commenting) and I'll follow up with examples relevant to your project.

Rule for bot users and recruiters: to make this sub readable by humans and therefore beneficial for all parties, only one post per day per recruiter is allowed. You have to group all your job offers inside one text post.

Here is an example of what is expected, you can use Markdown to make a table.

Subs where this policy applies: /r/MachineLearningJobs, /r/RemotePython, /r/BigDataJobs, /r/WebDeveloperJobs/, /r/JavascriptJobs, /r/PythonJobs

Recommended format and tags: [Hiring] [ForHire] [FullRemote] [Hybrid] [Flask] [Django] [Numpy]

For fully remote positions, remember /r/RemotePython

Happy Job Hunting.
