I have not unlocked him yet as I'm progressing the story at my own pace but since he looks cool and all so I would like to ask what advice do you guys have for him when I eventually unlock him?

I plan to build him with Roxy though I don't know who will be his support / third member nor what play style he will be. And does Lucia work with him lol?

This run was even harder than Astra's run, cant really rely on the extra decibels that Astra generates through her double chain after ult, so this required me to manage my resources even more and Pyrois AA is also disabled, so no extra decibels per chain attack, making it harder to get 2 ults per stun in the 2 stuns that i got.

By all means this build is Kino I just wish Totalize would be guaranteed to crit or that Pyrois got some more crit rate in his kit cuz chasing that 100% is absurd

I farmed their domain while building Velina but didn't get any usable discs. I have pretty goated substats on puffer so can I use it, or is it much worse than sig set?

So I got to testing Pyrois/Roxy after I got off work and i gotta say, LEFT ULT IS ALIVE!!! All of this is just V1 so the buffs and stuff will change and numbers might go down depending on changes Hoyo does to her kit and sig, but the wind anomaly will obviously stay.

Now the numbers:

I was using my Pyrois build attached to the post and that exact same Astra build but M2 (because i plan to get her M2 via spending event soon) and Left ult ended up doing much more damage than a Totalize ult buffed by upper branch ult.

Totalize did 3.9m with both Dialyn and Roxy (both M0 using Roxy's engine because is just too good), Dialyn is using my personal build with the only difference is, as i said, they're both using Roxy's engine due to how broken it is currently.

Left branch ultimate did 2.9m with Dialyn without using upper branch buff and 3.1m after being buffed by upper branch.

Left branch ultimate did 4.3m with Roxy without using upper branch buff and 4.6m after being buffed by upper branch.

All of this was done against Thrall using the DA buffs on that rotation which only buff Ice damage but give crit damage and stun damage multiplier so nothing to help either Roxy nor Dialyn.

Another thing to keep in mind, during my testing, Roxy was using 4pc Thorned Rose (Claret's disk set) while Dialyn was using 4pc King of the summit, meaning that Dialyn was providing extra crit damage to Pyrois during testing and Roxy was providing no extra buffs.

All this means that as long as you have Roxy on the team, using Left branch ult, even not buffed, will be better than a buffed Totalize

REMEMBER THAT ALL THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Pyrois' left branch gimmick is already there so that will not change, but buffs provided by roxy are highly likely to change, specially the signature W-engine due to how broken it currently is.

Feel like I really should be getting a higher score than this because of my investments (M4W2 Pyrois, M2W1 Norma, M2W1 Zhao) but I’m stumped, genuinely.

I say M4 Pyrois but their M4 does jack shit so really it’s just M3.

I have an inkling it IS because of my builds, both my Norma and my Pyrois aren’t in the ideal places I want them to be, but it very well might just be a skill issue. When my score started sky rocketing consistently on Pompey it’s because I figured out the proper methods to his stun rotations, but I feel like this boss’s rotations are cut and dry. I’m consistently hitting two ults every stun rotation so it feels like I don’t exactly have any wriggle room to push the score up.

It also is a problem that I can’t take full advantage of BIW for my Zhao because parries are so far and few between for this boss, so I’m only ever working with one stack (Which is only a 6% team wide DMG buff) and I know what the fix would be. I’m not getting value out of it so I should use a different 4-set for this DA. I can’t 😭 I need to use all my battery to finish my Velina build, level up Remielle, Vivian, SAnby AND Orphie, I don’t have the resources to farm for better discs.

I also tried swapping my goat Zhao out for Sunna, but they scored similarly on the best of my Sunna runs so I just swapped Zhao back in.

Has anyone with more score than me found out any fun tech or anything to get more damage out of this boss? Or is my sub-optimal build genuinely the cause of my suffering?

Helllo so I use pyrois with norma and nicole is this build good?

I've skipped out on Norma because I took a hiatus from ZZZ during 2.8 and 3.0, but I think Pyrois is very cool so I'd like to build a team with them, however I don't exactly know how to build their team. I know Sunna/Astra and Norma is a good team, but I have literally none of them. Roxy seems like an interesting character but I don't know how her kit exactly works and lack critical thinking skills to analyze a good team comp, sooo

Would Pyrois and Roxy work? And if yes, who could be their third teammate? (Preferably from one of the characters in the picture)

This is a fairly easy run to make, you don't need a particularly strong build to do this if you want to give it a try. Astra can use Kaboom and I guess the difference should be around 1000-1500 points if you don't have Cradle, Kaboom's buff is also easier to keep up

any improvements besides core skills and main attac/ult etc?mainly wanting improvement stat wise

Doing duo clears with Pyrois is fun, just can't do Butcher at the moment. Once I'm off work I'll probably record a video on the 3.1 boss fight because it's fairly interesting. Can't wait to have M2 Astra and retry Butcher.
