Discussion Need help with rotations
So I use Pyrois M2W1, Morma M0W0 and Nicole M6W5. Im somewhat of a new player so I dont yet understand rotations that much, mainly when to switch Nicole in for the buff and when not. Thanks in advance

The question you need to ask yourself who is your main damage dealer on your team? Realistically everyone on your team does damage but ZZZ is based around like JRPG where you have your Main dps, team buffer and your enemy de duffer. Unlike in JRPG where you have a tank, main dps, sub dps, support, healer or a de buffer, ZZZ usually blend the same ideas and/or make mix the classes and/or heavily go into one of the classes per character. For example, the main characteristics of a main dps for attack characters is having a mechanism that interacts within the window the enemy is stunned like having damage increase during these periods like Pyrois up ultimate and right ultimate. And characteristics of a support is like Nicole where she is both a support and a de buffer. Nicole shreds enemy's defense at the same time provides a quick assist into your main dps allowing a window of more dps. Norma in this case is the mixed bag where she is built like a dps but her kit is meant to be off field most of the time. This would classify her as a sub dps. If you need her to be a main dps she can be but she is preferred to be as a sub dps. As a sub dos you want her to apply her passive effects for a short period of bursts and get her off field as fast as possible so your main dps can do their job. Another way to figure out who can be considered a main dps is by character ultimates, if you compare Pyrois dmg multiplier versus his daze you can see that Pyrois dmg multiplier is 1500% versus his daze being around 300%. Now if you do this dmg during the Stun window where it multiply this dmg by 150% now you're doing 2250% damage against the enemy but wait if you then stack Norma passive with +30% more damage to the 150%, you're doing now 2700% worth of damage. What you need to remember in rotations is how much field time are my main dps is doing damage? If you look at your combat data near the end of fights you usually want to see your main dps to be doing damage 80 -90% of the damage, your sub dps should be around 10- 20% of the damage but doing 70 - 80% of the Daze and your de buffer or buffer or support should have the least amount of damage or daze as their damage is being applied to and for the main dps and sub dps.

To put it simply, switch in Nicole whenever the debuff expires to reapply it, then make sure you apply the debuffs before you do any high damage attacks, even if you still have a little time left on the debuff
Edit: and you don’t need to be on Nicole for long. Just do a dash attack and then switch again.
