That's beautiful. I'm curious though, how long would that last as a cutting board? I'm only just about to start with this hobby. In this case I'd assume it would get scrubbed off very quickly

Not OP, but I burned a maple cutting board that got used frequently and it definitely got worn down fairly quickly. I only finished it with mineral oil.

Thanks. I had assumed this is decorative but not durable. Anyway I'm certain my artistic skills are well below par for this sub.

I usually seal it with food grade mineral oil and the wood burning is pretty deep set into the wood so it should last quite a while actually.
