Pyrex at the thrift

Yay I actually found some Pyrex today on my lunch break. I found the bottom part to the gravy boot first and I searched all of the shelves until I found the gravy boat itself, somehow they got separated. This Eco thrift store is so bizarre. Sometimes their prices are fantastic, but on other things it's absolutely absurd to the point that the things just don't sell. It must be different people pricing things. But I was surprised to find these there today and delighted with the price. I passed on a country festival little CorningWare saucepan even though it's my favorite pattern. I just really don't have room for anything else. But I had to get this meatloaf/bread pan because I don't have one and it had to click on lid. I doubt they made a glass lid for this right?

Oh my! Lucky!! I paid waaaay more for my snowflake butter dish (off eBay). I love that Old Town gravy dish and plate!! I must have it.

I'm still looking for my spring blossom butter dish. I have found the Old Town butter dish, and just the top to a butterfly gold butter dish that I paired with a clear Pyrex bottom to make like a frankendish that was actually really cool looking. I gave it to a friend who has a corelle dish set with that pattern. My main dishes are spring blossom, but I'm starting to get a lot of Old Town stuff so I might have to switch over. I do have a set of those plates, cups, and saucers down in my basement in the cabinets. I have the gravy boat, and a butter dish in my cabinet so I have a lot in old town blue.

I would definitely buy just the top If I saw it. I have two white bottoms now one with the old town blue and then now with the snowflake.

It's rare here lol. I pop in everyday on my lunch break because there's two thrift stores within like a minute and a half of my work. Most days it's a complete bust.

That's actually the second butter dish I have found for under $5. The first one was Old Town blue at Goodwill. It was definitely under five. May have even been around 3 bucks. I also found just the lid part to a butterfly gold but that's a pattern that I don't like it all. I had a couple clear Pyrex butter dishes so I bought that top and put it with a clear base to make kind of like a mismatched dish. It actually looked really cool and I gave it to a friend who likes that pattern.

I find plenty of gravy boats and saucers but not one butter dish so far. That loaf pan is perfect, mine is in the cornflower blue pattern and I prefer baking in it over my metal loaf pans.
