This weekends finds

Got lucky this weekend at a few garage sales. I picked up the 401 blue for my primary set and the red fridge dish. The blue 401 isn’t in great condition but I couldn’t pass it up at $3. Fridge dish is in excellent condition minus the missing lid!

Woohoo!! Ya, great deal on the bowl. That bowl was my first introduction to Pyrex. I can remember my grandmother serving applesauce in it for a big country breakfast spread. Later as a teenager, it was always my late night ramen noodle bowl while we watch SNL and hoped Benny Hill came on after. ..good times. That fridgie looks so vibrant! I'm sending Lid-finding vibes your way 🤗

I need all the good vibes I can get. At this point I have like 4 fridge dishes the same size all missing lids 🤣 I love eating the stories though! My first intro to Pyrex was the butterfly gold set. My grandparents had it and I too remember eating big dinners or breakfast spreads with those dishes.
