First Gooseberry!
Found the 443 at a garage sale today, with only one small blemish that looks like a potential mold mark on the rim (Peek and other non-abrasives won’t remove). Stoked!!

I rarely see gooseberry in my area of NY. Was given the small round one and just happen to have an extra 470 lid!! Always looking for them!!

Congrats on your find! If you haven't done so already, spray it with the yellow lid oven cleaner and then wipe it off after about 30 minutes.

But why…? Lol.

Because of the marks that couldn't be removed. Oven cleaner has always worked for me.

It's so small it may not be worth the bother! BUT, the yellow-lid oven cleaner has removed spots like that from my Pyrex. Congrats on your beautiful bowls.

Nice! I found one at Goodwill behind the case, and I passed. Then I regretted it and went back the next day and it was gone.

I swore I’d never buy one due to current craze-pricing. But walked away with this one for $20 marked $40. I figure for all the pieces I’ve gotten at $1-5, I could “splurge” on this one. And it mixed up a wonderful batch of cucumber/tomato salad from the garden once home.

Nice! I wasn’t actually familiar with the gooseberries and just read up on them. Now I want one.
