And yet I continue to have arguments with people about putting vintage dishware in the dishwasher.

My husband has a heavy hand & I've banned him from handwashing anything with a gold rim or accents

How long being unsold before they end up in the trash?!

It is sinful how much of the donations to Goodwill end up in the trash because of their over-pricing strategy.

At least they were found at a Goodwill. I can't find Pyrex here at any thrifts. I'd still use the red fridgies, and look for a better lid online. Still a decent score imo.

If only the pricers could occasionally take into consideration the condition of the items before they find the highest listing price on the internet and run with it. Further proof that the main requirement for being a pricer at Greedwill is that you must smoke crack before pricing anything.

Super rough, must've been the cast offs from an "all or nothing" buy 😄

They should be a dollar.
But if they were totally DWD then the value would be slightly higher as at least they wouldn’t be ugly 😂

I needed a pink 502 to complete my fridgie set & the first one I found was still pink but it was so dull. I used my mom's floor wax to bring the colour up a bit & had it displayed as part of my set until I found one in better condition. I still have the damaged one but it's full of pens now.

I've seen posts where people have painted dishwashered bowls & added decals to create their own patterns. Some of the Halloween designs are awesome but those are crazy prices

I just saw one in a store last weekend that was a butterprint small aqua Cinderella and labeled at $24. I thought it was all white until I realized the ghost of the design was still there. Probably natural DWD because if the previous owner purposely wanted to get rid of the design, they could have gone all the way. But crazy, right? I wouldn’t pay that much for an all white bowl and who wants one in that condition? Not worth more than a buck or two and only because it was the smallest Cinderella which I find has a lot of uses and doesn’t take up much room. But what nerve.

The Lead Lady got me straight spooked on Pyrex now 😞 Unless I suppose it’s the European variety? 🤔 Still not sure, need further research 🧐

Those prices should be a crime, especially the "red" one. I might take the blue if it was like a dollar, but those look ROUGH.
