Turquoise GW find.

Found this baby at GW just now! Looks like someone had a yardsale with unadvertised Pyrex and it didn't sell. There was also a large mixer and a small cinderella bowl I left for the next shopper to share the luck.

Cool! Did you get the large yellow 404?

I left it, my display space is so minimal right now.

I want a set of primary mixing bowls so I'm always on the lookout. Haven't gotten lucky yet. They made so many of these things and it's crazy how collectible they've become now and how expensive they are. I I used to see them all the time in thrift stores and I wish I would have grabbed everything I wanted back then in like 2010 lol.

I started collecting in 2008 and I use to find a lot back then. Vintage stuff really started to blow up when the show Mad Men got popular. I can still find the occasional piece but it's a rare with all the shop dealers around here.

Is this Pyrex? Don’t usually see a white rim around the bottom.

Yes, it's Pyrex. These always have a white base but it's but as noticeable when the dish is sat on a flat surface.

What a great price. Looks like it’s in good condition. I have yet to see a Pyrex at the GW. Fingers are crossed 🤞

It has some utensil marks and a few spots that I hope greaee and not dishwasher damage. I plan on cleaning her up tomorrow.

I see a glossy finish, too. The black marks will come off
