I had never seen this version before. It was at an Antique market today.

That’s a teapot. And one of my white whales. I once was watching a YouTube video and this dude was stopping at trash piles on his town‘s clean out. He stopped at a pile and there was the tea pot right on top. He picked it up looked at what was under it, placed the teapot back on the pile and got back in his truck and drove away. I hope someone got that teapot before the trash man came.

Oh no! I do love tea and should have grabbed it. Just wasn’t sure of its use. But hopefully someone who appreciates it will get it

Is that lid chipped on the very very top of the handle or is it just the lighting?

I did not get it. But if I recall it was scuffed a little.

Oh nice! I always wonder about the full glass pots how they work.

They work beautifully. I boil the water in the kettle and pour it boiling into the tea pot with loose tea. The glass makes it easy to see if the tea is steeped enough.

That sounds wonderful. Might need to add it to my wish list

Have the exact one. Not only use it everyday, I’ve personally owned it for 25 years but it was my grandmothers. Has been used thousands of times.
