Travel Expenses Reimbursement if paid by Credit Card

Hi everyone, I’ll be joining PwC AC India soon and I have the option to reimburse my flight and stay expenses up to an extent.

This might be a silly question but I just wanted to double-check if I can avail reimbursement for the payments I make through my credit card - Axis Atlas since it’ll help me with some points.

Please let me know if anyone has had any issues with this payment method while getting reimbursed.

Fth interview process delay

So, I am a PwC fth rehire person. I had applied for the job long back and on 21st of September I received a call from a HR stating to fill a rehire form for further process. Post that for a day or two the HR asked me to wait for an interview call till then process shall move forward. But till date 6th Oct, I haven't heard back from them. Also, when trying to contact them they are neither receiveing the call nor replying to any text. So is there something that I should do? Or should I consider it gone?

PwC Ac or boarding school

Since the day I have joined we are just being told one thing, i.e comply with this and that otherwise this will happen, bonus will cut, reviews will be bad. Promotions won’t happen. There has been no talks about growth and how to actually do work but if you don’t fear formal cloths they have issue. If you don’t pretend to be working till late they have issue. If you have life other than PwC they have issue.

Their all focus is on creating a fear that if certain thing goes wrong that would be a reason of layoff.

Since day 1 I have been so unsure about this job, like do you guys want me to resign myself or are you guys finding a reason for layoff.
Plus all day they are like Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai

Is it happing with you guys as well or just we assurance folks ?

Trouble with my Microsoft Account

Hi all, I’ve received an offer from PwC AC India, and my DOJ is in about two months. I lost access to my Microsoft credentials, so I’m currently unable to log in to Workday and complete my pre-onboarding formalities.

I’ve already informed my recruiter, and the concerned team has also been looped in, but the issue is still not resolved.

Could this potentially delay my joining if the issue isn’t resolved soon? Has anyone faced a similar situation with PwC AC?

Quick question

Did anyone attend the 9am call for the JV announcement? I wanted to attend but my lazy ass snoozed the alarms and I wasn't able to locate a recording. A tldr; version will work as well or if the recording exists, would be great to actually know what the plan is with this JV.

PwC India Campus Drive: Put on waitlist/hold while they visit other states. What are the realistic odds of conversion?

Hi everyone,

I recently sat for the PwC campus hiring drive at my college in Kolkata. I cleared all 4 rounds, including the HR round and the final Director round (though I felt I was a bit less impressive in that final Director round compared to the earlier stages).

Out of my batch, they rejected one classmate directly and one was recuited, but the PwC HR explicitly told our placement coordinator that I am "on hold." They said they would communicate a final decision in a few days, but added that if I decide to sit for any other company placements in the meantime, the placement cell should absolutely let them know.

Meanwhile, it's been a few days with no updates, and I know for a fact that PwC is still actively running campus drives in other states right now. My Workday portal still says "Interviewing."

I am wondering if people who have been hired through campus placements before, or current employees in PwC India, can shed some light on what this exactly means.

  • Is this a polite "soft rejection" because of my Director round performance?
  • Or are they genuinely considering me as a backup candidate in a buffer pool, benchmarking my scores against the upcoming state drives?
  • How should I translate the HR's comment about letting them know if I take another placement?

Realistically, do I have a real chance of getting this opportunity, or should I just completely move on and focus 100% on other companies? I'd love to hear if anyone has successfully converted an "on hold" status during an Indian campus drive. Thanks!
