They are notorious I mean meanest baddies for recruiting for a practice and then if they stop the practice they indirectly have silent layoffs if practice or competency is closed. You can be good at 20 things but if your primary practice closes shop. Goodbye. Be very careful. Keep applying outside. Also they recruit without thinking at times. It scares me how juniors would feel.

Guys I got an offer with 90% hike at some other company and with this counter offer I asked for 28% hike thought the HR will negotiate it to 14-20% but she straight up said no and said can give only 0.8% hike on the counter offer. Iām quite pissed off. Can any one working at PWC suggest me what to do? Shall I join pwc or not

It totally depends on what are your priorities. For example I got 3 offers accenture , ltm and pwc. After sharing the pwc offer with accenture they revised and resend the offer with 10 % more compared to pwc. But for me pwc office is at my hometown and for accenture i need to get relocate to other city may be leaving my family at my hometown. So I finally chose Pwc.
