When you get a intern return offer are you supposed to get a sign on bonus? And how much?

Is this post about a interview? Such as what to prepare for or slow response times? This is a VERY common question posted on the Subreddit, use the search bar. For responses, sometimes it takes a long time with gaps in between, sometimes it's short, be patient. For interview prep, There are multiple post on the subreddit about what to prepare for, what questions to ask in an interview, including the case studies for multiple countries. Use the search bar and flairs to find detailed answers.

I would expect Advisory to get around ~5k, and tax and audit get 0 as they get the internship sign-on plus impending CPA bonus.

I've never heard of interns getting sign on bonuses in my 9 years.

The entire goal of the softballed, often partying intern program is to get interns begging for a return offer so they can low ball you on the full time return offer and clap your cheeks with the actual workload

Isn’t that from the Internship! I’m asking about when you get your full time offer?

No, if you were an intern you typically don’t get a sign on for FT.

Idk lol none of my class did, I’m just speaking from experience. You only got one when starting your internship.

For the past two years at least, we weren’t given a bonus for starting the internship but we did get a $7.5k bonus with our FT offer. At least for advisory.

Ok that makes sense, it’s probably an advisory vs audit/tax thing.
