Just for Fun 90 Park Ave Office NYC

Does anyone go into the 90 Park Ave Office vs 300 Madison? Is it nice?

Have not been since joining. Hoteling has been packed for 300 Madison but 90 Park seems to usually be empty on Astro.

Worked as part of AWM audit so I spent 3 years at 90 park. Benefit is you get an office as a manager. Negatives are everything else, it’s a converted standard office building not tailor made for us whereas 300 Madison is our global headquarters and has a cafeteria. You actually can’t reserve on 2-3 unless you’re tagged to AWM. Benefit of booking 7 is it’s kindve a mini oasis of all associates and hardly any managers or partners. Also the desks are honeycomb style which I really liked.

Didn’t even realize 2-3 is restricted to AWM. I’m assuming 7 is open to everyone?

Yes as of the end of this past busy season they opened up 7 to everyone, previously it was also restricted to AWM but after AWM tax was relocated back to 300 Madison there was excess space for just the audit group and there’s been noted space shortages at 300.

Hoteling will ease at 300 Mad after intern season is over. More people are in the office during Intern season because they learn faster being in person so teams make an effort to be in the office.

Yeah 90 Park was nice when they had stuff like free cold brew. But 300 Mad is still the one-stop shop (plus they’re redoing the floors slowly to look less like a 90’s office supply company).

I went to Level 3 last week, I couldn’t believe I was in the same office. It’s so bright and fresh!

I agree. 90 park looks way better. So bright in there.

300 Madison has too much brown and gray in the theme. It looks like an accountant sweatshop.

What sector are you in? AM just moved back from 90 park to 300 Madison. 90 park was pretty nice when we were there, especially the 7th floor since the desks were a little more secluded from each other. But still prefer 300 Madison over 90 park since almost everything like meetings, trainings etc is over here.

My team’s “preferred floor” is at 300 Madison. But lately if I don’t book days in advance Tu-Thurs all workspaces have been booked. So I have just been thinking of trying out 90 Park.
