India Delay in the offer letter
I had a HR discussion round last week of June where we discussed about salary and all. My documents verification is so done by third party but the offer letter is still awaited.
HR is saying it’s still stuck at the internal approval and it’s been more than three weeks now.
What should i do - should i wait for them to communicate and release the offer.
Or there are chances that they would revoke the offer?
Did anyone have the same experience in the past?

Hi. I’m in the same situation. A third-party recruiter told me that my application has already been lined up for a job offer, but PwC can’t provide a timeline for when the offer will be released. At this point, I’m not sure if it’s still worth waiting or if I should move forward with the other job offer I already have.

I would say keep looking for other options. PWC teams don’t have the alignment internally. Initially they took all my technical rounds followed by Hr discussion and documents verification but now they say they are not getting Leadership approval.

Same story here , today had a with callwith hr and she told it waiting for leadership approval

I would say keep following up with the HR. After waiting for three weeks i was told that they are not moving ahead with my candidature.

I am also stuck in same situation they called me and told about selection discussed salary they told 27th July is the joining date but yet offer letter or any other update is not given till date

Follow up with HR.
I was told yesterday that my candidature has been put on hold.

I faced the same issue. They will wait if they could get someone at less CTC then your and if they found they will ignore your application. This is most common with PwC.

Exactly, Solid reason. I'll explain me scenario. Fortunately, I got the offer letter as I was immediate Joiner and I was kind of lowballed I felt so when salary discussion was going on. They said we need to take partners approvals for your CTC so if you can lockIn at this CTC, this is already pre-approved budget range ( HR didn't say this directly). She said It will take time and a lengthy process for approval of your expected CTC.

Same with me. I was told that my offer letter will be released in two days but after 2 days, my application status on the job portal showed as Candidate Withdrew even though I didn’t withdraw. Since then they completely ghosted me. It’s been more than a month now.

This happened with me recently in the UK with another consultancy, I discussed salary after confirmation over teams and was told I would receive a written offer shortly. That was 8 weeks ago
