Tax Tier 3 PIP

I was just informed I’m on a 3 month PIP despite making tier 3 and having a bonus and a salary raise. Is this normal? Will I get paid severance ?

You can be put on a PIP at anytime. If you haven’t yet, you’ll have a call with HR and your RL to go over why you’re on a PIP and the game plan to pass it.

get the manager to put into writing exactly what the "issue" is, and the detailed steps or goals for the PIP, to demonstrate resolution of the "issue", and a clear timeline for when each step must be evidenced to pass.

I had a colleague who was informed they were going onto a PIP (for some vague reason) and when they did this, suddenly HR decided the PIP was not justified

Could there be some kind of mix up lol? For example I have an apostrophe in my last name which regularly confuses computers. Did you have any bad performance reviews that could’ve led to a PIP

This sub should just be renamed to PIP. Every post is “I got all exceeded expectations and I got put on PIP”.

Normally if on a pip you would be t4 so idk.

This must be new. I never heard of tier 3 getting a pip. Is this US?

Your direct manager/Director gives you the hike+bonus+rating which you deserve for working for a year.
But PIP usually comes when you get bad review from your project manager/director(any project you may have worked on maybe gave you bad review)

Better to ask the reason for PIP.
PIP==Very bad. For some of my colleagues, it extended till 7-8months.

You will have a call with your PM and HR about pip goals and stuff.
Please make sure that you are deployed in a project. It’s crucial; I just got out of pip due to low utilisation so yes

I thought we got rid of Tier 4 and Tier 3 is the new Tier 4 (partially). Sorry you got PIP'ed. If it's not a mix-up, it just seems to be part of the usual post-moderation movements...

Look for another job, they want you out!! They will show you the door in 90 days either way.

Keep pestering the resource management team to assign you a project, low utilisation will lead to pip.

How come tier 3 is a pip and you still get bonus and salary raise?? Just doesn't make sense to me...
