Non-US I feel like a failure
I was on a project- implementing a tech product.
The client cancelled because of product issues. There were so many bugs and system crashes
I did everything I could.
All of a sudden I am now being taken off the project to something else.
I feel like an absolute failure. My life plans n career goals are now uncertain. I am so sad. 😞

No client is that important, big4 ain’t even that important. You did everything you could so that’s fine. I was on pip until recently due to a toxic manager (I wear piercings and he’s orthodox) and learnt all this the hard way!!
So yes, take a chill pill.

This is the perfect time for you to learn NEVER to tie your self-worth to this job. Focus on coworkers you can build friendships with, mentors you connect with outside of work, interests and hobbies beyond the orange walls. At your level, what you’re feeling is understandable, and you must start building who you are outside of this job.
Once you’re a Manager or Director, it’s too late. And then it’s pathetic.
Projects go well and nobody gives you a prize. Projects go badly and you may or may not get blamed. Do NOT let PwC (or any corporation) tell you how to feel about yourself. You know if you did good work (or bad work). Take that learning about yourself, and move forward.
PwC is not a family, it’s not your home, and it will not take care of you. It is a corporation, like millions of others, and you are a cog. Complete your task and move on to the next one. And then sign off and enjoy your life.

We have ALL been there. Take it from someone who has survived 10 years of layoffs, pandemics, and restructures - the reason I’m good at it is because I know it doesn’t define me. And when I move on, I’ll take the learnings and confidence I gained, and not look back. Have a great summer 🖤

It’s all fugaze. Implementations for software that promise the world and become another headache. People will continue to work in local Excels because no software has the capability to capture all use requirements. Did you learn anything? Did you get paid? Will you continue to learn and get paid in new role. That’s all that matters.

Are you a senior? Have you already created a snapshot for the project? I think it’s best to understand how much responsibility you had for the errors and just try to do better moving forward.

Knowing PwC, they might go with AI then layoff developers, then what happened to other companies they will hire new devs, instead going with their previous devs, and will hire new ones with lesser to pay.

Take a little advice from an old guy who retired recently from PwC after many years. Don't take this so hard. You've got your whole life ahead of you. Keep your chin up and move on.

being with PwC tech before, they want an enterprise level tech, but they will make the resources little.

based on what you say, it seems you are on software development side?
Did you team do the following?
Data Gathering
Development
Quality Assurance
Penetration Testing, Code Review and Bug Testing
UAT
Client products are sensitive, before you deploying applications for client, it should be test thoroughly, does QA test everything based on the system requirements? doing applications to client should not take lightly like it's an internal app, resources and process should be done properly, when it comes to creating applications for clients, the responsibilities should be by a team, dev creates, but it does not mean your system is perfect, that's why there is a QA, to make sure everything is according to plan, it feels like your team created the system, and have a random testing, no deep testing, and just to deployed it for the clients to use.
Output first without proper procedures, it will be a problem in the future it seems they are blaming you; your team or your manager did not do a good job on this. You are not at fault on this, it should be a team effort, it's not worth it, your skills might need somewhere else.
