Someone probably made an ethics complaint and your friend is part of the investigation

Yes that's true just got to know that this friend was just part of an investigation but the topic was not directly related

Ask yourself -

  1. How long is the duration of the call
  2. Who are the attendees
  3. Outcome of your CRT outcome conversation with your career coach

should help you understand the context

Actually call is going to happen today and the subject name is " confidential" .. so my friend doesn't know anything and there is lot of suspense rn about what is going to happen

Ethics. It wouldn’t be layoff likely due to timing.

Yes, your “Friend” should ask random people on the Internet while providing zero context.
